Thread: Understanding rear brakes

After some research and inspection of our SE-R, I finally sorted out our braking situation in the front. Good news is the car has the NX brake upgrade.

Now I am trying to sort out the rear brakes. My rotors measure out to be the smaller 234mm x 7mm version, but there also appear to be a 258mm x 9mm rotor. I can purchase rotors, no problem, but as for rear brake pads, how can I order rear brake pads and be confident I will recieve what I need?

The 258mm x 9mm rotor isn't for a USDM Sentra I don't believe. That is for the JDM Sunny, and maybe the USDM G20, and also the USDM Maxima?

I've had no issues buying rear pads from NAPA and I've never heard of anyone having issues buying the rear brake pads. You should be able to order them from most places and get the right stuff. They aren't annoying to find like the front pads.

258 are jdm nx rotors. or buy them and g20 calipers and have the big brake rear too.
