2002 roller rocker clutch question
Have a RR sr pulled from a 02 auto g20
Ordered my clutch and have ran into a small problem

RR pilot bearing with supplied alignment pin

92 ser

The RR has a larger inner diameter hole and another "bearing" compared to the 92.

Also, the alignment pin does not fit in flush.

Any thoughts or ideas would help a lot

I don't know why but all autos I have seen have that weird bushing in them, we just tap 2 holes in the bushing to put 2 bolts in and use a slapper to pull it out. I know on the 6 speed cars we have put together there is no pilot bearing. The tranny input shaft is self supporting. I would guess the 5 speeds are the same but maybe someone can chime in on that.

Thanks for the tip,
Yeah I'm just trying to figure out a way to align the clutch plate if the pin doesn't fit.

OEM/Metric clutch alignment tool (25063) | Alignment Clutch Tool | AutoZone.com

$20 for a universal alignment tool.

Hmm never seen those, I'll check it out, so could Ieave the other bearing in there? Or does the 92 input shaft need to slide in flush?

The input shaft on the 32V transmission doesn't even contact the pilot bushing at all, so there's no issue there (ore any reason to want to change it out).

The bushing in the crank from autos stick out a hair and can possibly interfere with flywheel mounting flush. Make sure you check before installing your flywheel.
