Door Chime Noise
Does anyone have any experience changing out the door chime buzzer. It is god awful in these cars. Sounds more like 'missile locked on' rather than 'headlights left on'.
When replacing the gauge cluster bulbs I could see it's a simple 12v 2 prong buzzer on the back of the cluster- are all of the replacement 2 prong buzzers going to be a solid droning tone? I noticed a lot of the cars I was looking at with a more complex chime use a multiple prong relay type. (like my maxima).
Anyone find an alternative to the sinking submarine noise other than ripping the block out completely?
