So check this out. I had installed the 91 G20 HVAC in my 92 SE-R over the winter because, well, my intensity setting 4 didn't work (exact opposite of the blown resistor thing) and I was bored. Here's a photo of it in there:

Yeah I know it doesn't look so great, the left side was missing some plastic and the 1-2-3-4 sticker kept falling off, and I have the little plastic pocket removed below it because waiting on gauges etc, but it worked and was something different. Well, I pulled it out of the car the other day to work on some stuff and then I found myself at the Jyard again and came across something interesting, I was unaware of, and I picked it up. Its in this photo:

On the bottom is the same unit from the 1991 G20. But on the top is a unit from........ a 2001 B15 Sentra!?!? Yes its true. It was in a 2001 Sentra, and has a sticker on it that says it was made on 05/03/01. They are similar in some ways but different in others. The 2001 Sentra unit is far superior in button feel, has a better lighting design, the 1-4 intensity harness is still the same and connects right into my B13, both are the same length and screw right into the same holes, both use the same lever attached to the metal wire select from cold to hot air, but the '01 Sentra unit is a much sturdier piece and feels more solid, the buttons click with more of a snap, but the thing is, on the back there are two electrical pin out connections unlike the G20 which is much simpler design (as the 91-94 Sentra GXE had the same G20 HVAC anyway). So I'm swapping the '01 Sentra unit in and going to rig something up for the buttons to work again.
Maybe some of you had already seen these in a B15 but I haven't, bizarre. B14's didn't even have anything close something like this thing I found in that '01. I've never seen another B15 with it, and the 2005 Sentra that I own has a unit that looks nothing like it at all.
