I had a Calum with an SAFC2 on top and an AEM Wideband. Worked perfect and my car ran flawless for the three years it was turbo (still is but its parked till about 2 months from now). But you can pretty much go with any chipped ECU that has been setup for your injectors/maf. The SAFC can take care of the maf change and all that other stuff but its just better to have a nice base already. This time around Im going with a JWT ECU since I had one laying around. I just sent it off to get reprogrammed for the $100 and ill be using the SAFC and AEM WB to fine tune it.

The Calum I had actually ran TERRIBLE before I tuned everything. The A/F's were in the tens across the board at wot. Timing map was pretty good from the feel of it tuned though.

I was walking everything in Raleigh that I could find lol! Wait till you get a bigger turbo and find something with 450+hp to beat or keep up with. THATS when youll be hooked and be like **** this im selling my moms TV to buy some cams! I did that with an R35 when they first came out! But I was hooked long before that

HA! arent you that dude who know's Sam (shospazz) in Fayetnam. I'm the guy who had the yellow evo with the nt03+m wheels. I used to (back in 2001) have a 92 b13 with u12 bb swap. Didnt have much done to it... stock bb injectors, 300zx tt fuel pump, 3 inch t-back Dave Allen asspipes, jwt repro ECU, JWT MM inserts with GC/kyb suspension. Ran 13.8 @99 with stock tires at Carlsbad raceway (now closed) in California.

with your setup I would look into getting some motor mount inserts to avoid wheel hop, upgrade your CV's because those will go very fast with the addition of the t-28. JWT ecu or calum if they're still around. Other than that looks as if you're on your way to having a nice little sleeper. I'm looking at getting another b13 here in March. Also eyeing this se-r with a gti-r swap right now... If you see a white se-r with front teeth soon, hit me up....not too many sr20 owners in Fayetteville.

good deal. I just went aem as well. I had pretty good luck with my jwt ecu but I always used a safc-2 on top. My calum ecu was tuned by setzer so it was dead on out of the box.

AEM is thie **** thats what I'm running. But do you really need an AEM for that small turbo setup? You should put that money towards cams and a turbo upgrade and some other go fast goodies. PM me or Tauriq for advice man we are both in raleigh.

AEM is the **** but yall cant even tune it yourselves...to me thats not something that interest me unless I have a shop with a dyno that I own and operate and can tune AEM myself.
