You folks should jump on this.

It is harder than you think to get a proper sized hunk of 18 gauge steel with which to fabricate an IKEA brace.

I've got one already welded in place, or I'd be on this offer in a heartbeat.

Even with some welding at a local bodyshop, this would still be the least expensive (and highly effective) brace you ever install on your vehicle.

I'll try to jump on this after I get new brakes.

Anyway, Im going to use a slice for my IKEA Brace, but I have enough metal left to make 3-4 extra. If I get enough interest I will sell each for about $20, depending on how many I get out of it. They will be precut and shaped to fit and ready to be welded. The price is based on what I paid for the whole sheet and divided by how many I make, I really just looking to make back what I didnt really need.

If there isnt enough interest Im not going to cut them up so I can use it for other things.

should make some for other cars maybe 9th gen corolla or 10th gen corolla if so i pick up some

Further, there are pictures and a full write-up of what an IKEA brace is, why it works, who invented it and coined the term, all located in The Suspension Thread. Duh. ....

There you go, enlighten yourself sir.
