Roebling Road track days
I have been in Contact with Kaye (the track manager at Roebling) regarding track days for the balance of this year. She put me into contact with a couple of different groups, and this one has the most promise:

seat-time* performance driving days

I spoke with Jon, and he said that if we had a group of 5 or more, we could get a discount. Kimme and I are looking to go to the June 26th date or possibly the 2 day event on August 1st & 2nd.

If anyone else has interest, please post here so we can get a list together.

I know bhowle of Columbia is trying to get us down there at least once more this year with some reasonably priced, SCCA sanctioned, high performance driving days (with instructors). I'm highly inclined to do it for the fun factor and such, but I'm also going to give the car a rest for 6 months to a year before I put it in danger of another engine failure, etc.

I want to enjoy my car for a while before I put it in relative danger again. That being said, if it doesn't perform on the track, it's basically useless to me so it'll have to start back up again at some track soonish. I just can't put up with another long car work session.

I'll let you know if I change my mind.

Yeah, I'll still come down and hang!

Maybe I should rent a PT Cruiser 'till I get my SE-R up and running!

That is really really tempting. I may have my NX2K running by then. With work dieing down in a week or so and not seeing the GF for a month and a half I should have plenty of time to work on my car.

Looking at my work schedule, June 26th is good for me but I am definitely out for the Aug 1, 2. Guess I better get wrenching if this stupid Southern weather would just clear up......

Joe, I will be there.

Just ordered my oil cooler/gauge setup, and will be ordering a helmet soon as well.
