Looks like you cracked the case as the crack usually runs from where the rear mount bolts up to to the drivers side then does a an "L" straight back to the shifter rod. Every cracked case ive seen was that way. Looks like yours broke enough to fall apart around the shift rod going into the trans.

Its done for. Time for a new trans or just swap bellhousings if you can find one.

In my experience, you can usually beat on trannies

I got a good case if you need it let me know.

I already picked up another but my gear stack should be good. Might be a good idea to grab the case and make a spare.
