Heres the 93 NX Knuckle which measures: approx 3 1/2 inches
Note it position is flat & straight without an angle.

Heres the 92 NX Knuckle which measures: approx 4 1/4 inches
Notice the upward angle of about 15*..

yep.. my sorry cell phone camera... But that all I have here at work..
I will try to get a side-by-side picture when I get home. (will be hard with lowered car)
I still had Charlies 92 NX spindle in the trunk from the weekend.

I know it sucks but you can see the difference in length & angle..

My right side inner fender rubs too. I only noticed it when I swapped steering racks. Think that has anything to do with it?

It was definitely my spindle causing my rubbing Ian; it was too long. I didnt touch the steering rack. Just the end-links and the knuckle/hub assembly.

If yours is rubbing, I would measure and make sure the replacement rack is an exact match to the old one.. Nissan definitely changed steering parts in the 93 NX. Im really not complaining as the changes really did improve performance and turning capabilities. But they only changed things in the 93 model only.

You must have the magic bus. My 93 NX has the worst turning radius of any Nissan I've owned. I can't even do a U-turn on my street at full lock.

Maybe they ran out of steering parts at the NX factory at the end of '93 and they threw some other parts on your car.

Anybody know if this also applies with the 93-94 Sentra Se-R?
