Thread: Ice Cream Paint Job

Excuse me good sirs, would somebody like to tell me how much paint I would need for an NX 2000, including a bit more incase of screw ups which are bound to happen? I am looking to paint my NX the kawasexy green and put like carpet on my dash and dice on the mirror and like LEDs under the body. So yeah how much paint seriously though?

there are many different types of paint and many different types of shop that do good and bad work espically when it comes to paint. you can just get the outside painted, or door jams or engin bay or get the hole frame painted. i know a place around here that advertises and sprays cars any size any color for $165 ... now that is with crappy 1 layer paint. your looking around $3000 for something that shines nice though.... and the dice are going to cost you

Well, I have access to a shop (hookups baby) and I am learning to paint with a pro, I just need to buy all the supplies for my car. I am told just the paint is over $500, not including other supplies. I just need to find out the amount of paint I need (quarts or whatever) to make my car shiny as a mudafudger. I wanna blind the po po for daring to even look at my car in the sexy ass sun!

Is this a joke? You want to blind the po po in the sexy ass sun......I have never had a sun fetish......If you are learning to paint with a pro than you should also be learning how to supply paint for a car like a pro....Paint could be over $500 or over $10 or over $3000 in supplies.

All I am asking for, is for someone that has painted an NX before, to give me an accurate measurement of paint that is required to do the job. I apologize if you are too old and take things way too seriously. I am sure that guy I am going to work with will be able to look at the car and estimate, but I want more than an estimate. you have to be specific. estimating how much paint used depends on how many flavors you want your icecream paint job? vanilla,chocolate,strawberry ect...

it would then be a Neopolitan? would it not
