Wipers down!
So a couple days ago my wipers worked fine. But last night driving home went to turn on the wipers and nothing. Rear wiper works. But nothing up front. No noise no movement clicking etc. I have searched the forums and read up on the wiper issues but I really don't have cash to blow on parts I don't need. Anyone have any ideas?

check the fuses, also make sure there isn't and obstruction - wipers dont work if they didnt seat in their original position at the base of the windshield. If that dont work, grab your multimeter and check the wires - all but one of the wires on the harness with the car on and your ground lead to the outer ring on your cig lighter should indicate battery voltage. the one that doesnt, you have to measure continuity to the ground on your intake. also buy a can of electrical contact cleaner while you're at it to clean the terminals on the switch.

Check your fuse. Mine was blown and my wipers didnt work last night. Changed it out this morning and all is well.

^See above post. It's a step by step, you can't ask for better than that.

i could have sworn there was a write up on taking the switch apart and cleaning it. anyone know where this is or remember it? I am pretty sure it is the switch since the back wiper works. so the relay and fuse are good. the wipers are at the bottom of the rest position. and i don't have a multimeter so i am going to asume the harness is good.

everything looks fine wiring wise. anyone have a used switch they wana give up to charity? What are my best options for getting a replacement? i still want the rear wiper to work and after seeing the issues getting the right breaks radiators and etc i am not to confident that the oem replacement from advanced auto is going to work and still be fully functional. anyone else been through this with an nx and getting a replacement switch?

get a multimeter and check your connections within the switch. you need a multimeter anyways to do anything else on your car for heaven's sake. You can't say everything 'looks fine' with electrical, it's all wrapped in tape and hidden from view.
$15 at harbourfreight i'm sure, a wise investment that will save you hundreds of dollars in the future.

opened the switch up. i think it is a broken contact in the cuircit board. Put a washer under the the connector and so far it is working. will have to replace the switch at some time.
