Thread: New here & not a Nissan owner... yet. Hunting for an NX.

Hello everyone,
I am not very good at these intro's so bare with me.
I have been thinking I need a very reliable and good on gas ride and have been contemplating a Nissan NX lately and I am currently leaning towards an NX1600 (I know, it's not an sr20) mainly for the ease of maintenance, reliability and the mpg's. Unfortunately I have been running across more 2000's than 1600, so the 2000 is tempting as well.
I hope to find one fairly soon and not ridiculously priced.
Otherwise, I have never owned a Nissan and the only import badge I have had is VW. I however own (or have owned) almost everything else.




If anyone knows of an NX1600 in or nearby Arkansas, please keep me in mind.

get the nx2000 you wont be dissapointed they are just easy if not easier to work on than the 1.6

A ruby NX2000 popped up in Kansas City a few weeks ago and immediately disappeared. You have to be quick with these.

I'm back... well I have been here off and on. But due to not being able to post anywhere else, I am just a visitor in all the other parts of this forum... not sure what is up with that So I guess I am confined to this area of the forum for I don't know how long.

Anyways, still looking for an NX (preferably nearby) took a little time off in my hunt due to my commuter/work car starting to hemorrhage oil last year and sucking my funds dry for awhile. Of course, when I was able to finally start searching again I had seen that there were some previously for sale nearby but sold by the time I picked back up where I left off... oh, so goes life.
Still hunting. Would make a Wanted ad but can't, so just throwing that out here. I do have a smallish criteria list regarding the car I am looking for.


Thank you JimR for keeping an eye out for me. I think I recall that ruby red 1 in KC & the 1.6 in Tulsa but by then I was a broke ass after my work car sucked me dry. After that I just had to stop looking for awhile because it was just so depressing.
But I'm back and if your "ear to the ground" is still offered I'd take it and appreciate it.

I will keep that in mind (regarding them being easier to work on) morgans432. As of late I have been leaning more towards the little egg sr20's.
Now if I could make up my mind regarding manual vs auto lol. Manual always wins out in my mind & heart.
