The Switch to the Dash
Hey I finally signed up. I'm going by my nickname Kong rather than Nissasin. So to the select few that I know or know me, this is my new screen name just for the dash.

I met you a few years back at a meet in MD (I think it was back in 2005-ish). You were in your brother or friend's 2.5 RS!

I left my damn folding chairs there, though.

Welcome to the forum, buuuuuuuuuuddy!

^ha nice Paulie Shore reference. Yup that is my brother's 2.5 RS. Now it has piston slap and is waiting for me to transplant a 2.5 STI motor with trans. Those 2.5 single cams do not last long, I can tell you that much.

every stock Subaru with over 50k on it always sounds like it has a permanent exhaust leak...................its really unnerving.

whats up brian, havnt seen you since the burger king line i was talking to corey and he says you do great/meticulous work, keep that up its hard to find mechanics that are proud of what they work on. he also said you were learning how to weld around the time he was leaving. you have to teach me, i would love to know how to weld.

Thanks for the compliment. Sometimes its Art not mechanics. Or at least thats how I like to look at things.
As for welding. Right now I'm learning TIG. We just picked up a MIG welder. I'm still in the learning process, but once I have some idea I will gladly teach you either type. I'm so excited about the MIG though. What it means is, that I can finally start seam welding my 13. Then she's off for paint. Its about time she got some lovin.
