Very clean. My setup is very similar to yours, albeit without the clean gauge chassis. I just bent up some aluminum sheet and used a 52mm hole punch :P

Great Idea Jay! I have the VDO gauges too and love the 42Draft design bezel.

Thanks,I love your whole cluster and gauge setup, too. That shift light setup is sweet!
I have a few tricks up my sleeve in the future for a shift light and VVL indicators in my cluster..muahaha
I would have liked to have the water temp gauge in the cluster, like yours, but didnt want to go through all that extra work..lol
I actually tried the same angled face as you did,but didnt have a good way to attach it to the chassis.I had both plates in front of me when I started this, and the 42 draft one was alot easier to deal with, for me at least.

Re: Check out my custom installed gauges in the NX
Thanks Jay... I'll actually be changing up the gauges a little before the convention. Crappy angled bezel is being replaced with my other 42draft one, water temp is going to the center again and my aem wideband is going in the cluster since it is a little more shallow and the innovate is going on the shelf.

Very nice and clean install.

I too went with vdo gauges. I also like the oem look. However they were definitely not cheap. And all the senders were sold separately. The 10bar pressure sensor for the oil was quite pricey for sure.

For some reason my vdo gauges have metal housings and are much longer than yours! I would like to install the water temp gauge in the dash and move the wideband to the gauge din instead. But seems I need a very shallow gauge for that. Anyone know of good flat gauges? I'd even consider a digital one. Pref vdo but not a necessity.
