Gauging Interest: Carbon Fiber Inner Tail Light Filler
If the carbon fiber trunk group buy ends up successful then I will looking to cover up the holes in the trunk that were meant for inner tail lights since I don't want to run them.
The idea is to make a carbon fiber filler piece that will take place of the inner tail lights. Apparently there is already a piece like this made for the newer Tsuru in Mexico that we can use for a mold. I have a crappy rendition of what this piece might look like in carbon fiber if it was to be made.
Keep in mind this would be of use on a non CF trunk of course, and would save some weight while allowing you to remove the inner tail lights off of your SE-R or SE trunks. You could also run this on a non SE or SE-R trunk.
Cost should be somewhere around $150 so it will be affordable as well! What do you think? Group buy may be possible if enough people are interested in such a thing.
