If its dumping/leaking gas, the ecu won't help you...
You can not do any type of tune with a bad injector

Source yourself a replacement injector from a forum member.
Im sure someone has one available like Andreas.
Or someone local like Rob, Brad or Keo..
Then, the replacement injector can be installed and working before you start any ECU tuning..

Well yes, but I don't know if it's actually the injector it self, if ECU is making O2 sensor stick in Open Loop, then it will be throwing that fuel out to all cylinders, not just 4th. I will play with it more with other cylinders and see if they are leaking as much fuel as the 4th. I just hate smelling like gas LOL

That why u do the leak-down test..
Pull the rail and then you will know for sure.
Neither the ECU or Open Loop would cause this..
A bad fuel pressure regulator could impact all the injectors.
But first, lets eliminate the OBVIOUS !

Haha true, you know I keep on forgetting on how easy it is to pull the rail on the high ports

I'll do that tonight then

And Scotty is the man!

I pulled the fuel rail off the intake manifold, got my wife to put the ignition onto On (where all gauge lights come up), there went cylinder #4 spraying like a garden hose!

I took it out, adjusted the brand new o-ring, it had some cracks in it . Put it back in, and it wasn't spraying, but was dripping fuel.

Trashed that O-Ring all the way, got one from my old injectors, put it on, put the car in ACC, and guess what no more leaky injector! Now that's a $.99 fix I can live with

I will drive the car to work tomorrow, see how it goes and will see if the cyl #4 still miss fires. Today, I went to work and back, 6 miles, I used up 1-2 gallons of gas

Perfect time to get your mileage issues sorted out, gas is cheap.

Wouldn't hurt to change the oil either if a ****load of fuel was sitting in the cylinder overnight.

Yep, I have that planned too, I've been running on some 5w30 non synthetic oil, because I didn't want to use the good stuff to first clean out the engine. I will probably put in some synthetic blend tomorrow, then after a few hundred miles Mobile one

I was totally going to say it was the injector o ring, but you found out! In your original post you said it was black but not wet with fuel.

Glad you got her fixed! Don't forget to change your oil soon. Gas and oil mix pretty well.

Haha yep, who would a thought that a brand new O-ring from a dealership would take a dump.

I took the car to work today, idle was MUCH better. So I'm assuming that my old, before the hose spraying cyl #4, o-rings were leaking, thus causing the bad idle.

Thanks so much for all of your help guys!

Great to see that your injector problem is fixed!!
Ive experienced the same thing a few times using old injector O-rings.
Thats why I recommended to pull the rail & test it.

Sometimes when you install the injector & O-rings (even new OEM ones), you dont push the injectors into the rail straight or apply enough lubricant grease to the o-ring. The O-ring then twist out of place and starts to leak gas. The leak get progressively worse as the o-rings simply crack-up from the pressure stress. Ive learned to just buy the $6 injector O-ring kits from NAPA and replace the o-rings whenever I install/replace injectors.

Please DO change your oil VERY soon and dont drive it hard until thats done.
Your engine will get a good cleaning from this oil/gas mixture.
