Yeah that'll do it. I know Walbros will fail, and generally if you run them dry I understand that they can fail or be damaged. With that kind of junk in the tank I'd be tempted to install another pump as preventative. Maybe something OEM because I hear bad things about Walbros more and more.

Walbros are nice cheap replacements, but if you want more get and aeromotive 340 or get 300zx TT denso pump

that walbro was brand new.I cleaned 10x that much shit out of the tank the first time.
My plan is to pull it and clean it again after the convention.Its doing good right now,and if wose comes to worse,I could fix it up in ATL.
I am trailering the car up anyway.
