It's so close that the throttle lever scratches the paint off of my VC, although this is also taking into consideration that all my throttle bodies have a cruise control hookup. I imagine it would be fine with an intake or throttle body spacer, I had also considered doing this but I happened to have a whole lowport engine for parts and that VC is a much better fit.

Tomas I am also intrigued, to see how you run the PCV hoses if you have pics

The pcv hoses are pretty easy to run. You iust need like two 90 deg bends to make ot work. And prob one hose connector maybe two.

Id honestly rather have my blacktop rr valve cover just so people know what it is and that its a newer motor. Along with the internal seperatir for a cleaner look. I also swapped the spedo cluster in mine to a 98 white faced cluster to reflect the lower redline.

I'm wonderimg now if low port and highoirt throttle bodies are different. I have all highport tb's at this point. Do I need to go get the lowport tb also? No coolant is running through my tb.

reapher if I knew how the RR cams were lubricated then I'd have an answer for you. Just like you though, I have no idea how they are lubricated without the normal SR20 oil bars above them.

I'm inclined to think the non-RR valve cover will be fine. The PCV system has nothing to do with oiling the cams. But how the cams are oiled on a RR motor, I have no idea. By oil splashing maybe? Oh, and with the roller rockers, oil is probably not nearly as important to get on the lobes. You know? Since they don't slide along the rockers. The rockers have those rollers.

I've seen the TB interference you're talking about. It is serious interference. Not something you can live with IMO.

It is more than just touching from what we had to deal with. It would have taken a ball-peen hammer to make things fit. And installation is a nightmare because of it.

That's not going to work. You'll put a hole in it before you take enough material away. It is some serious interference. I said ball-peen hammer for a reason.
