Build a chriscar pressure tester and regulate the air from a compressor to say 30psi. Open the valve and let the intake system build "boost". Then start checking for leaks. If any, you should hear them easily at 30psi.

Idle seems to be such an issue with these B13's. I don't understand why they're so temperamental. I'm running into the same thing, but I have pressure tested my manifold a billion times. I hear no leaks, I draw about 20in hg vac at idle, and the idle screw does nothing for my idle. duesmandella, let me know if you make any progress. My car is idling well now, just high and seemingly un-adjustable. This thread made me start to wonder if I have an obd2 IACV that's not communicating with the ECU right.

Your car is not pulling 20, how could it do that with no idle. A common mistake is yeah I have no leaks its at 20 im good. Also pressure test your system the smallest of leaks can mess with everything.

Stuck air regulator?

my air regulator is fine, that was the first thing i checked thinking it was the iacv lol
but it already has an open on it when cold and its spotless inside. What is driving me nuts is the car ran completely fine before this so i gotta guess it was something i did putting the motor back in lol(which by the way is one of the easiest imports to ever put a motor back in)

i was actually going to post in your thread the other night as i was searching like a madman to see if you came up with anything. Your right, the idles on this car is horrible lol.

actually tekkie, are you talking about the idle screw on the iacv or the one on the tb? i didnt see one on the tb is it hidden on the bottom left of the tb or something

i adjusted the one on the iacv but if there is one on the tb that i did not touch

Well idle is fixed, i did a couple things to fix it i guess. One was take apart the bov and add that white stuff to the end of the nipples as i think they were leaking. This fixed the idle until the car got warm then it died out again lol. So then i took the t'd fpr and boost gauge and just let it go from the manifold to the fpr then t'd off the line from the boost controller to the nipple in the piping. Idles decent now but still hesitates a lil bit, the plugs are black now, so i gotta change the plugs and im going to change the fuel filter for fun
one question, not sure when this happened or how, but my front headlights and all my electronics work but both my tail lights are out, i checked the fuses in the dash and they are a ok. Any ideas on that?

They have a fuse in the dash, which makes it odd that they wouldn't work if the fuse was fine. Maybe you could check those fuses that are on the + battery terminal? IIRC they are fuse-able links?? I can't for the life of me picture it right now. But anyways have a look at those connections.
