Crappy oil sending unit, questions
Has anyone else gotten an aftermarket oil pressure gauge and had issues? I ask this because I got a FAZE gauge from autozone a couple years ago and I have never been happy with the quality.

The only real Issue I've had is the fluctuation in oil pressure this shows. The factory switch will cause my oil light to come on if oil pressure drops below 10psi.

So why does my oil light never come on (it does work), but my oil pressure reads 0 when I reach 6000rpm? lol. This gauge is going crazy. Oil pressure will swing up to around 80 (where it about maxes out), then it will just start going crazy jumping up and down. Anyone else have this issue? I am thinking about upgrading to another gauge, but I want an electrical. Any suggestions with what you guys have used that works well?

Autometer in my B13.
I have also used Equus mech. guages and have been happy with them as well. For my B14 I plan on getting DEFI though they are pretty expensive.

definetly get an autometer gauge man, that brand gauge sucks. my buddies has problems as well. Actuall i think the factory oil pressure guage comes on if the pressure goes to like 3psi or under, lol

Faze aka sunpro aka crap. I had a a/f gauge from them.... garbage. Never again. It was a good price I have to say. This one of those cases when you get what you pay for..... They made that saying up just for these faze gauges.

Ya I know for a fact I have good oil pressure or this engine would have exploded by now lol.

This is really frustrating nonetheless. The bouncing needle is drving me nuts!

The Autogage are nice, made by AutoMeter and are available at Schucks, O Reilly's etc etc.
