Thread: Which rims? Help me pick?

Some (or most) may know I have been wanting some different rims for my Nx. Anything but these 17" small spoke donk-ish things in my book.
Would like to get 15".
Had quite a few people say (when asked about decent looking oem rims) the B14 se-l/se-r ones were the way to go.
Anyways being new to "the scene" and all, I guess I was wrong in thinking I could find some B14 (se-l/se-r) factory rims at a "decent" price for about $100-$150 for a set (4).
So I set out, neither are nearby so can't just swing by.
... but now I have a conundrum on my hands:

option #1- a set of 3 B14 se-l/se-r rims WITH good tires & one possibly unfixable rim/no tire (4 rims total) for $175
Tires (what seller says):
1 has about 1/4 tread
other 2 nearly new
all are Falken Ziex 912 (H speed rated)
195/60R15

----or----

option #2- a set of 4 Konig Villains 15x6.5 4x100 no tires for $150
pic he sent says Off 40, and I can't see a + or - so I assume the are +40.


option #1 I know I'd have to buy 1 other rim & tire. Would hope I could find a really good deal on the rim.
option #2 I'd still have to buy a set of tires.

Also got a guy saying he has a set of the B14 se-l/se-r rims and a whole car with a bad head he'd sell cheap, awaiting pics & then I might ask price.


I've been sick for the past few days & very sleep deprived. I would like others opinions on this and also maybe there is something I haven't realized yet- who knows, I've been a walking zombie the past few days. So if you were in my shoes what would you do and why?

option #3, wait for a better set of 200sx SE-R or Sentra SE-L wheels IMHO (do not buy the Villans and do not buy the 1 bad rim)

If you know you are getting 15s anyway, buy a set of 15 inch tires NOW with cyber monday $50 instant savings from discount tire direct (its a thought anyway)

If I were in your shoes I would NOT purchase the Konigs.

If I were in your shoes I would definitely check with the dude that has the SEL w/a bad head...might get a great deal.

If I were in your shoes I would take nude pics and post them online.

It just sucks that most se-l/se-r rims are $300+ and most would have to be shipped too.
Even when I have found a set here and there for a fair price they'd still have to be shipped, so it kinda defeats the whole purpose of the fair price.

Sounds like there isn't any love for the Konigs. I was diggin' them some, though I do prefer fatter spokes. Why no Konig love if I may ask?

Hoping that guy with the whole car/bad head gets back to me, a bit curious what he has. Since all he said about the car itself was "2 door with bad head", but my mind is wondering. Just don't have a ton of room for junk/parts cars.

They (these Konigs) definitely aren't the best looking but I have seen far worse lol

^^what's currently on my car now. So really anything (almost) is better than what I've got.
And maybe even if my rims were 15" I probably wouldn't bother with looking into changing them out so soon. But being 17" and small spokes they give out that "donk" vibe.

I wouldn't even mind some of those but they are not easy to find around here either so of course would have to find some shipped & by then I might as well find something aftermarket for around the same price semi-locally. Stock Nx rims aren't bad but not a fave imo. I really dig fat 5 spoke rims, anything over 5 spokes tends to drive me crazy.

I LOVE the Enkei ER01's that would probably be what I would sport (in a perfect world) but price wise I just can't justify it.
But then again I also try to avoid even looking at the pricer stuff anyways.
I am a poor girl, nowhere near rich so I can't afford some of the nicer rims & tires and stuff you guys rock.
