My other toy 2005 G35X

Nice Sedan my fellow G35 owner was that uprev already installed when you bought the car or did you install it afterwards?

I put it on myself. It is the simplest install I have done. You hook the uprev USB cable to your laptop and connect it to your OBD2 port. Then the license gets downloaded to the ECU and you install the default tune and drive away.

I had the tunes done by a uprev dealer in the area. All you have to do is use the laptop for data logging and reset the fuel learning curve. It is best to do two 0 - 60 runs and a 5 min daily driving log. Email them to the dealer or uprev and they send you a tuned file in return. The standard license comes with three tunes.

Yeah I know how it all works lol just wanted to see if you saw a major difference before and after.

The butt dyno tells me it was a about a 30 whp difference. I haven't done a dyno run with it yet because it is AWD. I have plans to rent one for an hour and dyno my G20 and G35 after I finish building my G20. The VQ has a knack for limiting power on upgrades with a factory setup. You could $3000 for a full intake and exhaust and net 1 hp because the system will retard everything. Mine had a full intake and exhaust and it felt slower then stock. Uprev allowed me to actually get gains from the upgrades.
