Thread: oil cooler necessary or not

i have a gtir with ve head 90mm bore and N1 cams and a gt35 turbo is an after market oil cooler necessary for road and a few drag events but mostly road ?

It sure won't hurt if you are doing road racing. It will increase capacity and keep the oil temp down so that pressure stays up. Very important when rocking through the many curves in a road course.

no oil cooler needed but always a good idea with a turbo.

get it... u have a 90mm bore. your water jackets are already a lil smaller.
