lol you guys. Here are some quick 0-60 pulls so you can see that the car has traction! The lightweight flywheel has made a big difference in traction when I am bangin the gears.

Oh ya, and "freeway" in the second vid is code for racetrack. He's a crackhead lol.

The upper rpm range is where these cams start rockin' but they need more revs desperately. The car just keeps making power.

Yes you do, just to show your buddies your done racing your engine

Ya I call this camera the heartbreaker. It makes every car seem slow. 20fps and poor resolution. But it was over 100*F outside today, so maybe I need a long course to reach a good speed lol.

I've noticed that too, especially on the drag strip videos made with cheap Point and shoots or cell phones look slow...

I took the car out on a real 15psi run. Not by creating a boost leak, but by actually using a good boost controller. The car feels great! It has about 400lbs of cargo easily and hauls ass.

I also lowered the rev limit a bit to 7300rpm so I could keep from hitting the fuel-cut limiter. Oh ya! Sounds so bad ass!

I wanna get some video but I figure I will just get a dyno soon.

went on a cruise today and had a blast with all the UtahNissans guys. It was soooo much fun. I went with half a tank, and came back with nothing. But I averaged 23MPG! I took one of my coworkers for a ride tonight and he was blown away.

23mpg on this build is amazing considering this tank held up to a 150mph run, tons of freeway onramps, and a cruise! Those freeway miles prob helped a ton! I bet I could get 29-30mpg on the freeway easy.

So... I need your help. I will be posting some pics later on and you guys can tell me what you think. I will be using the datascan and posting the data here. I made 329whp today and I don't know why. The car feels much faster than before, and is much more responsive. But I am not making as much power...

15psi with a tubular manifold. The only things that changed were the addition of the MSD box, the manifold, the CHRA, twin wastegates, and put the stock cams back in. lol.

Maybe my timing got messed with when the msd was installed. I used zip ties on the cam gears when I changed the cams, so I know that they are good there. I will be getting the datascan on there tonight, and will set the timing to 15* and go from there. I am simply at a loss right now. So I will go through a checklist on everything and see what is up.

The cams could be part of it, i don't know how exactly the twin wg's work but could they not both be set the same way?

I would think you would have picked up some power, but you changed alot of things at once so it will be a bit harder to track down.

basically with the twin gates, one will bleed of cyl 1 & 4, and the other will bleed off cyl 2 & 3. This keeps the pulses seperated all the way to the turbine which basically makes reversion impossible.

I am going to try disconnecting the MSD and see if I get any more power. I am going to regap the plugs, and clean out the maf. Then with the datascan I will put it in timing mode and set the base timing. The car feels great on the road. It feels incredible. I thought maybe I was getting heat soak on the intercooler, but when I touched it... it was cold.

I have it pretty much narrowed down to tuning and boost leaks. I think there could be a leak at the intake manifold somewhere... I run very lean at idle. I just can't find any leaks. I am going to try some carb spray and see if there are any leaks.

the weird thing about the cams is I only saw about 3-4whp increase peak when switching the intake cam. The exhaust cam makes a big diff, but the intake doesn't. I don't know why. I didnt' try not switching the exhaust.

I am happy with the power of the car while driving, but I don't understand why the dyno says what it says. Oh well. I figured I would come here for help because, although I can figure it out myself, sometimes it is fun to just see what others think. I'm sure someone has been where I am now.

well I found some pretty massive boost leaks. Ebay tbolt clamps FTL. They buckled at the ends and caused very very big boost leaks.

I opened the gap on the plugs to .035. I will fix the leaks, reset the timing, and go from there. Hoping for some pretty good power very soon!
