I purchase KLUTCH's car about a month ago so far front axes ,front berings, rear hubs,removed nasty fart can and put a flowmaster,arp wheel studs,dynabat battery,along with other stuff have made there way in the car, so along comes this stupid a*$ crew who I hate and one of them has a clean b13 with a gtir that he purchased from craigslist about two weeks ago, he has the nerve to call me out so were lock in for 300 next week , so now I'm really thinking he is goin to whipp me, I have a t28, boosting 10 pounds, external waste gate, the car its been dry iced, and the dash gutted, running stock ecu and maf, vs a stock gtir, with full weight and stock boost ,slicked up is there something I should worry about ?? 300 that's my week pay. The wify isn't goin to be happy if she finds out haha

can you drive? what size slicks? you really need to upgrade the injectors, MAF, and ECU. How much boost is he running? has either car been dynoed? if he is tuned and you are not, you are going to lose badly.

What Will said. If you had the correct ecu, inj, maf, I would say you'd whip him if you can drive and he dosen't kill you off the line with the slicks. Spend that $300 on a used jwt ecu and then do it.

Stock GTi-R engine in FWD format puts down about 200 WHP. With your 10 psi you should be around 250 WHP with the right parts and tuned, or maybe even as low as 180 WHP untuned. I'd say it's down to how good your setup is.

I have 370 injectors , and I can't go back its lock in meaning if I don't show I pay , also the reason I agree to the race is because one of my friends raced him and didn't lose by much and when I raced my friend I smoked him so I'm just goin from what he said (that's no good) I thought there's only a 20 horse power difference between our engines

You should have way more than 20 HP more than him. With your external gate, slightly higher boost, and higher compression you should certainly have more power. The anecdotal evidence sounds like it goes in your favor too. You could likely win this. Good luck.

if you guys both had street tires i would easily say you should be able to win, however if you cant launch and he has slicks an he grabbs an goes you maybe screwed..

dont get to nervous or excited and just launch the best you can.. hopefully you guys can do a best 2 out of 3, OR i suggest you practice launching at the track before racing him..

what sort off time do u get on fwd with ur setup on the drag strip
