Last night at "da" strip
I feel pretty happy, last night at the strip I broke a barrier that have been bugging me from a while.

I hit 15.1 at the strip!! (i know I'm not the fastest, but i feel great). i stripped the car and got that number.
my mods:

SR20DE lowport
Highport intake cam
timing 17°
short ram intake
SSAC 2.5 header
side exhaust, no muffler
magnaflow race resonator
0.5beta weight reduction
supposed 92 octane gas
nitto neogen 205/50/r15 tires.

I know I should got a better time but, the weight reduction changed A LOT the behavior of the car.

here is the ticket

I'll upload later a vid, once I get home

Wha? His reaction was 0.996

I would expect 14.90 for this to be honest, but it is very close and good nonetheless. What were your tire pressure front and rear?

Where did you take most of the weight out of? The rear?

PSI's look perfect to me. I am rather noobish when it comes to drag racing but I have done it at least ten times in my 200SX. I ran 15.4 with only a Cold Air Intake.

If you trim your reaction time some, you can break into the 14's I believe.

reaction time has nothing to do with your overall time. the moment that tire moves off the line is when the clock starts. your reaction time could be ten seconds and as long as the tire is still on the line your 1/4 time will not start.

That's a great time, bone stock I ran 15.7xx once an dozen times 15.8
i dont want to sound like im excusing but... the gas u use, how many octanes has it?
the gas quality in México is waaaaaaaay poor, maybe thats one of the things that can afect dont you think?
i mean, i have seen run cars, stocks (for review) in México and in US at almost same variable (Alttitud, weather, etc) and its always better in US than in México.
ill try in my next to visits to the strip one just like i hit 15.4xx and stripped like when i hit 15.1xx but with VP race gas, first at 17° the distributor then to it tops it.
