Thread: i´ve been challenged by a mustang

this i´ll have a race against a 2002 mustang gt automatic with this mods:
underdrive pullerys, reprogramed ecu, air filter and tb spacer, drag radials and flow masters.

i´m runing my t25 at 8psi, and i´ll run with street tires(toyo proxes 4) i´ll aprecciate any coment to beat that mustang, we live at the ocean level so the n/a cars run very good here.

You'll probably lose by a good bit. Your first priority should be slicks, but I think even then you'd lose.

turn the boost up man,and like aaronx said slicks

i´ll turn up the boost to 11psi and see if i can get some race gas or toluene, remove my 12¨woofers, and run with 18psi on my tires.

IMO, get a good launch and you should take the win

If you run 12 psi and lose the extra wieght you will beat him by 2 cars lengths as long as you launch evenly, now if you out launch him then you'll win by 4cars!!

yea remove everything..even the spare tire n jack thats added weight as long as you have a cell on u its all good.

Personally I have never lost to a mustang. I've beaten 04 cobra's with the supercharger and still pulled 2 cars but these weren't from digs. You just need to lose as much weight as possible and turn up the boost.
