Andy, next year will be the faceoff. Bring your slicks and I will bring mine. Lets run em haha. It should be fun. My power/weight should put me in the low low 11s with slicks, but I am a crappy driver when it comes to drag racing. I will be at miller as well, hopefully running at GT live next year.

bring it down to slc this weekend, supposed to have like a small meet and some freeway stuff

DET vs VE-T? IMHO the VE-T to start with is very good on everyday usage basis. VVL helps you since the car has 2 personallities. The smooth one till the solenoids do the dirty work and the WHP slut after the VVL kicks in! Yes, you can have almost the same results with the DET if you put BIG @$$ cams and hit the boost. But you can forget the DD character of the car.
From another perspective with my poor eyes I have seen that the VE head flows better than a DE/DET one when talking about boost. When talking about NA I believe that the VE also flows better but there is less air speed. The intake ports are BIG! In conclusion I can say(my opinion) that DE/DET head ports are better for NA but the VE head ports are the best choise for turbo by far.

Coheed I also believe that you should get some tuning from zero point. Calum RT I believe could do the work by all means. The engine has way more horsepower to put down.
Also, you should definatelly get some slicks...! With all that horsepower you need traction.
