So what offset are stock wheels? 35?

I just want to make an informed purchase before I get slicks that are too big. I am not really looking for an insane hookup. 1.8-1.9 60' would be a hell of a lot better than the high 2.3s I'm getting now.

Off topic sorta, but how much time do you guys think I could shave off the 1/4 if the launch is .5 seconds faster?

So has anyone here been successful with B14 wheels running something big like a 24.5"x8?

I think I may just order some and if they don't fit I will just put some small spacers on until they clear the struts. I have a spare set of SE-L wheels, so I was hoping to use those for the slicks if possible.

I sometimes cant understand why people cant do something right the first time. This sillyness makes no sense.

Slicks $360 for the pair
Wheel spacers $30-$50
Longer Wheel studs $100

Total $490-$520

or

Right way

Slicks $360 for the pair
2 Rims 15 x 8 15 mm offset $180 for pair

Total $540

I would get different wheels, but it is an investment I cannot make right now. The car isn't a drag car, this is just for fun this season. Next season the car is going on MMP. I already have spare SE-L wheels and I'd like to use those if I can. I am currently running a 225-50-15 and it clears the struts just fine, but I have the feeling that a 24" slick will be larger.

So a 23x8.5 would prob fit okay?

Just do the 23x7x15. No need to change anything. Probably get the 60' you want also.

Will 23x7.5x15 work with stock wheels?

Will 23.x8.5x15 hook at all on a +400whp car?
