progress coilovers and tires
i have the progress coilovers, and after installing them i noticed the car bounces a bit and i think its the tires, can any one recomend a good tire with a harder side wall? ive got kumho 711's on the car right now and i they are going to need replacements soon, azenis arent good for me here in south fl because of the rain we get. im looking for good 205 50 15's

Hankook Ventus RS-2 Z212 has a tire pattern better suited for wet conditions. they provide good dry grip as well.

If you want a max performance tire thats also great in wet conditions you might need to pony up the bucks for some Pilots, or S03s or something in that league. Check the reviews of different tires over at Tirerack.com for the attributes you are looking for.

this might sound crazy, but I don't have any problem with azenis in the rain hell I even get around in the snow with them

BFG makes a solid ass tire. my g-force sports were super in the rain.

Its really awesome that you noticed a difference in the tires. My friends thought I was nuts when I said that I could feel the change from my all seasons to my azenis to my R-comps. It actually rides the best on the stiff ass r-comp toyos. It bounces much less.

What everyone has said is great advice. Im not sure how long you can wait, but Im hearing some great things about the Toyo R1R's that just came out.

I run Bridgestone Potenza G009s on my NX w/ KSports, which should be bouncier than the Progress coils, I would guess.
I have no bouncing, and handling is exceptional on both wet and dry roads. They are the best tire I've had on the car to date, daily driving-wise.
Very solid tire, better than the Falkens, Dunlops, or Michelins I've had on the car in the past.
I put 60+ miles a day on the NX with 4 trips up and down a twisty mtn road and I love them.
Bonus: Good in the snow, too.

have you Checked out the Falken Ziex-912's? Affordable all season tire with very good grip. I have em and have heard nothing but good reviews about them. Great bang for the buck tire.
