In car video from May Rallycross in AL
I shot this clip from in car during our National Challenge Rallycross in May. I'm finally getting around to you-tubing it, I hope!

Enjoy!

Nice, long course. Looks like a great site.

It's a great site! Lots of elevation change and we can almost always get a mile long course. It's a little rough, but not too bad after a few runs. We actually only used one small part of the property for this event and may be hosting a rallysprint soon.

Thanks for posting the video. Yes the site's a bit rough, but great otherwise. Looks like fun!

Car seems to rotate exceptionally well... are you putting in a lot of effort or is it your setup? Looks like fun, quick driving too!

The car does rotate well...sometimes too well. Most of my cones are from the rear sliding out.

Suspension is pretty basic: Hotbits with 314F/199R rates (55/35 kg/mm), no front sway bar, stock rear bar, Falken rally tires with 34 psi F, 36 psi R. I also have a very stiff cage and the car weighs 2330 without me.

I also left foot brake pretty aggressively and use the hand brake in the really tight stuff.

34-36 psi is pretty high. Have you tried lower pressures or do you like being able to toss the rear out on command?

I like it a little loose, but I kept it high due to the roughness. I did end up with grass under the beads on the tires, which I have never seen on rally tires before! If it were softer or smoother dirt, I would probably only run 32 or maybe even in the high 20's like I did in FL.

Sweet video! Is that Huntsville or B'ham?

That's Birmingham. Well, one of the parts of the property at the Rally Ranch!
