Thread: Head bolt washer and oil return question

So I am probably going to sound like a newb but I just took the head of my SR20DE 53J and noticed that I only have 7 head bolt washers.
Are there supposed to be one for each bolt?Also 3 of the bolt holes are very oily.Are there supposed to be 3 oil returns through the bolt holes?

each bolt has its own washers, use a magnetic to fish out the rest, sometimes they blend in, not sure about oil drains

You are supposed to coat the head bolts in oil before you install them. That's probably why the holes are oily. There is no oil return through the head bolts.
