SR20 oil pumps differences..
Hi, a DET (RWD) oil pump will fit into DE (FWD) engine?

Something to do with the oil pick up tube/flange. When people are doing a VE pump to RWD block conversion they need a custom made oil pick up.

you have a fwd de ? and your just looking to upgrade to a higher pressure pump ?

you live in the US ?

not upgrading, the engine im building has cracked oil pump..it's SR20DE high port. Im outsite US ..but if price is ok i can pay for it of course.

A note for others reviewing this thread.

VE oil pump in my de engine raised oil pressure significantly. Even with fillter relocation, piston oil squirters and oil cooler, oil pressure is 50psi at idle and 100psi at WOT.

What's needed for this swap? I want to do this when I'm building my det block
