You need to get to the big sport bike carbs IMO. Hayabusa are 45mm I believe. I got a set of bike fuel injection units off of a GSXR1000 and was disappointed that they were only 40mm. My logic said that if the bike makes a reported 160ish whp at 9750 RPM that the throttle bodies would be sufficient for a mildly bolted SR20DE. The other thought that I had was that since a BMW M3 of various generations has between 45 and 50mm throttle bodies you are at least in the neighborhood. I think that you need to do a lot of study on runner length, etc. Since you can get Hayabusa throttle bodies for around 200 bucks on flea bay and they appear to be able to be separated and mounted on different centers (albiet with some work on actuator linkage required) I think it could be a good expirament. I will let you know how my 40mm turn out once I get the car finally running.

That's for the gtir only I believe. You'd need the entire gtir head/intake setup with that I think.

In any event if you are using ITB's from a bike you will have to create some kind of intake manifold to attach them to. Whether they are carbs or throttle bodies they all attach to the cylinder head with a rubber vibration damper type of coupling. They do not have traditional flange/thrubolt style attachment like a car carb or throttle body. I have looked at the upper intake from the high port and it looks like it will be simpler to make a custom flange with short tubes welded to it to attach the throttle bodies to.

At the risk of sounding like a troll, you really have some balls demanding an answer in bold font, then making stipulations on answers given. That said, wouldn't hp be higher with fi being it is programmable? Wouldn't the entire ignition set uo have to be revised with carbs? This seems backwards, but I could be wrong.

Rather positive feed backs

It would perform well, provided it is tuned correctly. There are way to many variables that have to be taken into account in order to be able to tell you what type of HP gains you would see. Furthermore, there really aren't many documented setups like the one you mention. How about you try it out and let us know of the results?
