WHat did you find? Probably good future info.

Pump and pulley determines which oil pump drive.

So in my case DE crank + VE oil pump drive + VE oil pump + VE crank pulley.

Although another local member is running an underdrive jgy pulley on a ve, while the rule of thumb so far is that u can't run a de pulley on a ve, hence Gspecs ve crank pulley. But jgy states the pulley fits De/det and ve, but not gti-r. Weird.

you can run a de ur pulley on a ve. The only issue is with the belts not lining up due to the de pulley being slightly longer than a ve pulley(less that 1/8" total difference). I know of several people using the de ur pulley with a ve motor with no issue. As stated it depends on pump cover and crank spacer being used.

^^ I ran my UR DE / DET pulley on my VE until i was shredding belts because of the offset.

I have seen that the 6 rib belts rub. the 4 rib belts that are used on non a/c cars do not do this.

I wonder if you can run the DE space with a DE pulley with the VE Oil pump. In theory it should work because the DE pulley is longer but not sure how far it can go into the oil pump. I have been meaning to check this out. I have both oil pumps, spacers, and pulleys at home. I will try to sort this out.

Yes I believe you do use same spacer as pulley that you are using.
