NX2000 SR20DE SR16 pistions Jim wolf technology C3s, ecu
hey guys we recently brought my NX2000 racecar back from the dead. its been sitting for about 3 years. just did new head gasket and valve guides. the set up is really basic

sr20 turbo block
sr20 head
sr16 pistions
JWT C3 cams, valvesprings and retainers
JWT ecu
hotshot intake
Custom Long tube 4-1 header
3" exhaust dumped under the car

the car made 170whp @ 8200rpm and 132 ftlbs torque

here you can see vacuum in the manifold at high rpm due to a head flow issue and to big of cams. theses cams love 9k rpm+

heres some photos and a video of it on the dyno, fast forward to 1:00 to see just the dyno

good stuff.

although dynapacks read extremely high when compared to other dyno's.

realisticly your only worried about on road coarse performance.

good luck with her !

Do you know what your air fuel ratio's were? I wonder how much more you would be able to get with a tuneable ecu.... Waiting for the dyno graph since it is really area under the curve that matters in a race car. 91 octane?

I've never had a dynapack read high. The car made 175 on a dynojet a few years ago. The way dynapacks load the car is more like actual driving on the street.

The afr was at 13.6 all the way across which is perfect for NA. Ill have the sheets soon and we are running 3 year old 100 octane haha

WOW!! It's still alive! I'm glad somebody has the car and it is still running!

The best part about the car, and I hope I'm not blowing your secrets here is that it only weighs 1950 lbs (no driver). At least that is what it was when we scaled it before you bought it.

I so should have bought it from Jeff, but had no use for it. It was just a cool part of Nissan Motorsports history in the US. I'm sure you have noticed the VIN?

Haha ya it actually at about 1900 flat now and yes this cars history is amazing. One of the reasons I still have it

Is it a JWT race gas program? 3 year old gas can't help anything, lol. A/F sounds just about right.... Must be a blast to drive with the weight so low! I don't know the history behind this car, any info or links would be great!

Another C3 cammed DE pops out of the woodwork. Nice car too!

Look forward to seeing that dyno sheet.

Do you still have the old engine that the car came with? Check around that engine, there is some magic in it somewhere. I found the old dyno sheet from when we got it running and it was making 186/146 at the wheels, at 7300 (graph cuts out after that). Anyway, it was a Sunbelt built engine, so who knows what compression or cams it had. I suspect it had upwards of 12:1 and bigger cams than C3's as they had their own cams ground (according to their techs) but I have no proof.
