WTF are JWT S3/S4 HL cams????
"S3HL CAM SET SR20 BILLET 0.457" LIFT / 260 DEG. DUR. "

"S4HL CAM SET SR20 BILLET 0.484" LIFT / 266 DEG. DUR. "

"S3 CAMS BILLET SR20 0.442" LIFT / 260 DEG.DUR. PROBABLY THE MOST POPULAR SR CAM IN THE WORLD! GOOD ALL AROUND STREET PERFORMANCE...."

"S4 CAM SET SR20 BILLET 0.464" LIFT / 266 DEG.DUR. A LITTLE MORE POWER ABOVE 5500RPM THAN THE S3 CAMS, BUT A LITTLE LESS LOW END TORQUE."

What are HL cams?

High lift. Slightly more agressive than the original S3 or S4. I had a set of S4 HL cams in my t25 b13 and it was a beast. Supposedly the most aggressive cam you can run on stock valvetrain.

Never even heard of these suckers before. Pretty neat if you ask me.

S4HL's are bad-ass cams, juding by the specs. All that lift under the 266* duration is nice. Increasing the area under the lift curve with little to no increase in duration makes more powah!!!!

Yeah. I didn't think JWT still sold these, but since they do I'm going to get a set of S4HL's for my next build.

So I saw this right as it was posted earlier and I knew that HL was "High Lift" but, isn't there info somewhere that they made an extremely limited amount of these because when they began testing when they would rev it they would throw rockers or float valves or just break something. or did they do something "new" with them?

I hope an OG can respond and get some good info up on these.

I believe it was the S5 cams that they were having issues with throwing rockers, etc. These high lift versions of the S3 and S4 were to replace the S5, that is my understanding. I think JWT was trying to say S5 cams worked fine on stock valvetrain till people had issues.

^^ This. S4HLs are the most aggressive for stock valvetrain. S5s threw frequent rocker arms. Ask Teal97 & NinetyNineSE-L. Wish I had the HL on my S4s now....
