2J2 v 53J
Hey guys.
Just wondering what the difference is between a 2J2 engine and a 53J.I have an JDM 98 Rnessa with the 2J2 in it and I recently got a 53J out of a wreaked 97 Prairie joy.
Both are FWD 4 speed autos.The 2J2 is a low port and the 53J a high port.
I was going to rebuild the 53J and stick it into the Rnessa but there seems to be quite a few differences with the engine especially with plumbing.
Does anyone know what the internal differences are.I may just rebuild the 53J and sell it and buy another Rnessa 2J2.might be easier.
Thoughts?
Edit:Both are SR20DE.Is there anyway to tell if my 2J2 is a roller rocker?I cant see any squirt tubes with I look through the oil cap hole.
