low end power/ torque with S3R's... help
I knew there'd be a drop in low end torque with the cams fitted, also an extreme increase top end but I find I need to be constantly above 5k to see any excitement.

I have a Fidanza lightweight flywheel to go back in (needed a new pressure plate), but I am not sure if just that will aid low end figures.

Is there anything out there that will help?

Sounds on par for what it should be, what is it you really want to know? Can you re-word whatever question is in there?

I dunno why you put those JWT S3R cams in that shift the powerband to the opposite end of what you want. (low-end power and torque). Nothing else but stock cams and a turbo will give you low end power.

Would be cool if there was high lift version of the stock cams....

I honestly do not even know if JWT makes an S3R HL version. I guess they would, the few differences besides duration and lift is in the base circles/ramp angles and exits anyway on Roller Rocker cams from what I draw on the cam-spec card from JWT.

RR are a good engine to boost, it's all in the tune as everyone says around here.

When I had my b15 SE/PP they did not have a HL version. As far as I know, cam choices are pretty limited on the roller sr20. Cat cams, piper cams, Tomei, and JWT is it. Cat and Piper have some cray grinds, but they require springs and or retainers.

My SE with S3Rs, intake, and header didn't "feel" like it had any low end loss. Do you have a stock intake/exhaust system? That could be the issue. Let that puppy breath.

OP, what ECU are you running with these cams?

Tomei Poncams gave me gains over stock cams throughout the rev range, also 0.5bar more fuel pressure will help low end lb-ft.
