I am going hybrid. I had the 95 G20t LSD tranny that came in my car with a bad input shaft bearing. I also had an SR16 tranny that had a leaky input bearing seal. Now I have an SR16t tranny. I used the ribbed case and gears 1-4 and the LSD from the SR16 box with 5th gear and the final drive from the G20t box. Should be nice close ratio 1-4 with the relaxed cruise of the t tranny. It's going in Wednesday on my day off. I'll post up results after I've had a chance to drive it.

Almera N15 tranny is longer than Primera P11 GT one. At least this is what I know, according to all FSM ratio pages I have, and all threads that I have read.
As for the hybrid one - I can't build it myself, and I like doing things myself. But it will be expensive anyway, because I will need several gearboxes to buy so I can build the best one.

According to FSM there were 2 P11 GT transmission.

All has same gears - N15 GTi, N14 GTi, B13 GTi, P11 GT. And probably just P11 GT for German market has 4.3750 FD.

Yeah, thanks

But my point is - how does the comparison look like? Is the tranny on the right side much much better, or it is just better?

This would be the perfect setup,IMO.
Please let me know how this works out for you....wont the g20FD also help out 1-4 a little(make them each slightly longer?)

I always thought you had a b15 in that beast...lol

Yes, it should make a little less "short" while still keeping them tight in terms of spacing. The B15 is in the SE-R and I picked up another B15 to replace the poppin out 3rd gear strippin stock crap in the NX.

Please guys, it is simple - I am not interested in any hybrid builds or anything like that.
The link in my first post shows what I need to choose from. Anybody willing to share some knowledge regarding both compared gearboxes?
