Thread: Header choices

It's funny you say that considering I tested both headers on my car a while back and got the same results out of both, only difference is the ssac cracked so the stillens are back on. The only difference I saw was that the stillen I put them at +5 in, -2.5 exhaust, and I felt a harder punch in the mid range and the ssac was 0 in, and -2.5 exhaust. different headers different cam timing about the same peak numbers better mid from the stillen. Again not my opinion but a fact from testing on the same car.

i never played with the cam timing when i went from a stillen to a h.s gen 5 on the same motor. the ssac is the same as the gen 5. this was with s4's, the stillen just choked up top, no dyno done though

The ssac is NOT the same as the gen5. The old version was similar, but still not the same, the ssac had larger primaries. Now the newer ssac of course still has the larger primaries like the older one, but it also has a 2.5" downpipe

I'm happy with SSAC header. Pulls hard with Intake & str8 pipe. Haven't tried Stillen one tho..

sounds like it is better than the gen 5, look at the primaries on the stillen and decide for your self

I just purchased a 2001 Nissan Sentra SE with the 2.0 engine with the 5 speed manual transmission. It is the SR20DE. I need help. Does OBX or anyone make a header for my car which fits correctly? I have ordered a HKS catback exhaust and need a header in the next 10 days.

this will work, and it has the 2.5 downpipe.
