98 Vacuum hose no idea where it came from
Here it is, It's a T, it comes from the intake boot, and then to I think the EGR valve, and the third one was just hanging around, Can't seem to see where it goes? Thanks guys!

Underneath the intake plenum that the hose connects to is a vacuum gallery (metal vacuum lines) that runs to the front side (underneath) of the plenum and to the Purge Control Solenoid Valve. There's a nipple that points to the driver's side strut tower that is missing a line. That's where it goes.

Here's the vacuum diagram from the FSM for reference. MSPaint + Stylus/touchscreen notebook FTMFW.

I've had that disconnected for months, there was no nipple on the AEM CAI.

Also, I had no idea you were still around Kevin, back in the SR20 game or are you just helping your brother out?

The line from the CAI is there to give vacuum signal to the solenoids that are connected to it. IIRC, without the vacuum lines there the solenoids will not operate. They see vacuum signal and start the process of evacuating the charcoal canister on the back of the car, as well as control the EGR function.

On a 95-97, you can remove most of the clutter, since they do not have enhanced evap/EGR control/monitoring.

Yeah that's what I figured, it was throwing a MAP code, found one on eBay for cheeeeeeep. As I took the old one off I happened to notice it.... god only knows how long it's been disconnected. Might have been since I put the LSD trans in

Just goes to show you how effective those stupid solenoids REALLY are.
