Well this is new news to me. When did they release a plenum for the high port de?
I see your using the q45 tb:) are you still using the 3" intake piping?
The only issue I have ever came across on my car was a bad distributor. It bucked so bad lol.. New to me (used one) fixed all that right up
don't even bother with it unless you can hog it out to 50mm!
God even my doug fab intake manifold for my de uses 45 or 47mm i.d. runners :)
Plus you would need the curved trumpets to make the...
^ I'm not sure if i'd use that on a VE, let alone a 2.3L ve. Ports are way too small for even a 2.0L ve. You need at least 50mm iRCC and like 60mm trumpets.
Was that even for a DE? or another ty...

I'd go with the Stage 3's but you will need springs. Now with an BC cams I would get the CS cam gears also. These cams will need gears to get the most out of them.
I run the 3's with CS cam gea...
The 3" exhaust piping/ full 3" intake pipe and a 3" maf and a raised rev limit will help big time. if your going to run a 2.25" exhaust and a 2.5" intake pipe don't even bother with cams. Also some...
Please help me get my vvl p11 to clear its cel!
Set your distributor timing to 15 or if you want some more power set it to 17-19.. Any more timing than that is too much for an SR motor, you will be pinging like crazy. So just imagine 25! wow! su...

Anywhere between 0/-3 to +3/-3 would be a good start.

Looks like your going with a lowport head?
Any plans for the intake manifold? Doug can help you with that :poke:
What about the header? That dang new ebay tri-y looks great, BUT I would modi...
This is a very common problem with aftermarket ball joints.. The OEM ones I find fit the tightest. You can switch the boots over/buy oem BJ's/ buy new control arms.. Or the last least favorable is ...
I know your using a VE ecu but switching to a TB without that coolant controlled cold idle should fix this. The factory IACV is all you need. You can also cut that portion of the extra idle part ri...
Easiest thing to do is drop the N1 head complete with N1 cams, manifold, throttle body on a 20VE block.
Man, you guys need a welder when this happens! I'm a licensed mechanic by trade and all I do is weld a small "tit" on the top. Do this over and over till you have a nipple :) Then grab some vise gr...
