Chris.

damn right, straight down. engine/trans/axles all together.

yep doin the R&R myself, 1 man team so far.

i pulled the axles and all the accessories once it was on the floor. hauled it to "The Man" as an engine/tranny unit. i have a b15 tranny to replace the b14 one.
the tranny case is crap. bell housing is ok. i think gear stack/vlsd is good. the 125k mile act pp is shot. b15se disk oughta be good, but i have a new one anyway. Jun ultralight f/w is still great
so the plan so far is a 92mm x 92mm with all forged internals and at least 12.0 comp.
the head will be hogged out some, valves deshrouded, +1/+2 oversized stainless valves, new guides, seals, the works. with the increased airflow it'll also need bigger injectors. this is a complete rebuild. all gaskets, seals, bearings, etc will be replaced/upgraded.
the n1 cams, budget header and stock IM will stay for now.
from the photos you can see i have other work to do....like when the drivers side hub fell off the knuckle exposing the bearings. that ain't supposed to happen, Homie!!

If it hits 210/160 on the dyno it's all good

May be a good time to delete the pinstriping and decals too.

i'm still undecided on what to do with the vinyl, but there will be changes. i like the idea of personalizing my ride. maybe some FLAMES coming from the front wheel well? we'll see.
all ideas will be entertained

You want to get rid of the B14 tranny?

keeping the cusco, Cal. considering powdercoating of some other items to match it.
i'm gonna use the clutch release arm from the b14 tranny for the b15 tranny.

got some other sheit in the garage to get rid of though. (wheels/tires). aftermarket b14 mid pipe...etc

I know but sometimes people learn through repetition. Just rip it off like a band-aid man. It will buff out the next time you have it detailed.

Cal if you want a Cusco bar pm me an offer.

I dont need the arm, I have one. I can also help out with the powdercoating if you want.
