Spotted: A lowered, red b13 SE-R with b14 rims heading east on SE Stark around 70th Ave in Portland late this morning/early this afternoon. Anyone we know? And if so, are they going to the meet on Sunday? Looked like a nice and clean car.

Hey it was great to meet you guys today. I know I was a bit late but thanks for those that stuck around to say hi. Looks like a strong B series crew this year.

who all showed?

Hey Leng remember when you asked about the floor vibration the other day? Turns out the tread on the front tires was delaminating. yikes, spent the week trying to figure out what was loose/worn before taking it in to the alignment shop where they told me the front tires were screwed. Easy fix. How much longer do you think you're going to have that parts car around? I found a few more moldings that might need replacing.

It will be around for just awhile longer... I am actually getting into doing my swap... just started tonight. I am off tomorrow if you wanna swing by and pull stuff off.

Interesting... I was wondering what was vibrating on an almost perfect 93 SE-R

I told you man. About the parts car. Sorry about the tires though. The winter ones?

Should be a good week for the swap.

Yeah, but who looks for that back piece of window molding that the top ring of the seatbelt locks into? Didn't even notice mine was nearly broken in half till I was swapping out the window felt today. As for the tires the vibration had been getting worse all week, and I picked up a steering wheel tick and was scratching my head after testing about every bearing I could think of. Turns out the studs push in and overtime seperate the rubber from the radial cording. who knew? My master mechanic brother in law was guessing thrust bearings... as for the tires... Meh I bought them winter of 94 so they've lived a good life. Bit sad to lose them as they pretty much kicked ass wherever I took them, hopefully there's something comparable out there winter tire wise.
