Just wondering what you guys have done to BEST manage your idle/cold idle with one of these on?

future setup will be daily driven sr20ve, xcessive intake manifold, q45 t/b, nismotronic SA. worst temp here is 0-5deg C, for 3 months a year

thanks guys.

Managing cold idle with a Q45 Throttle body on a VE.
I have a similar setup but with an aftermarket big bore TB. Interested in the advantage of a q45 tb

I run a q45 tb on my ve. The q45 tb has an ect idler cam that will aid in cold idle if you want to use it. I cut these off of my q45 tb and use the butterfly adjustment screw to tip the tb open just a bit. I even ran a q45 tb with a jwt ecu with the idle control valve removed and it idled perfect at all times. The q45 tb is the best I have ever used. I have pressure tested a few to 30psi and no leaks, the big eBay tb leaks and so do the high end aftermarket GM units. If you have a gen 1 q45 tb hang on to it because they are getting harder to find.
