Looks like there will be another AU build in the mix.

With the results from the original thread starter being less than expected, and surprisingly so, add to that the controversy about Dyno plots and the thread died, fairly abruptly...
There may be more in the mix from this particular build, unsure if there will be any further info about it.

Ive got 2 other VE's im building atm - they are sucking my time up.

I think its quite unfair to say the results were low - or less than expected?
Considering the thing is chocked to the hill - and barely tuned - 175odd Hp at the treads is well within acceptable and im happy for that.

Brining the Af's back up over 11 - adding an exhaust system (car currently runs factory pea shooter stuff) and cleaning up the intake tubing to alloy - and adding a reasonable air cleaner i will certainly see 200 or more.

Im yet to touch cams - or play with cam timing settings.

Lets assume the exhaust adds 15HP. The tune 10. Intake cleanup 2-4.
I still then have room to go to N1's - or my own grind. I could possibly see 220 and probably will on the factory intake system.

Maybe once i am at 200HP the 65mm throttle may become a resriction - but for now its helping the engine produce more torque down low by increasing runner and port speed.

Im talking AUS/NZ dyno numbers - not the yankee happy ones. You yanks are struggling - so many big heads think they have figured the VE out - and you all follow eachother like sheep. We have a handful of VE's here and have the game sorted already.

I dont care for "smack" talk - big egos and so on. With some of the comments been thrown around - you wonder why people dont share information!!! You think ive told you guys every little piece that ive done to the motor?

Wait, so you don't care for "smack talk" - Yet you JUST DID. You're retarded, and that's all there is to it. Show me where everyone's acting like sheep, and following the builds of everyone else for replication?

At least WE'RE openly sharing information. Mr. "I haven't shown every little piece I've done to the motor".

When are you childish AUS/NZ folks going to realize that DYNO NUMBERS MEAN JACK SHIT. Who cares if yours read higher/lower whatever than those in the states?! A dyno is a means of measuring the DIFFERENCE in power from different sessions, after applying different modifications. You should have dyno'd a stock fucking VE and then dyno'd your "build up" after modification to compare numbers.

Why do these threads always turn into nz/aus vs us arguements? Still upset about the cam result situation or what? I don't remember it being like this before then...

Healthy debates are all in good fun and lead to better information, no need to hide things from members. It's not like anyone is using the info to make money, it's all about having fun I don't know anyone building a motor for themselves for any other reason...
