Both are true. But when you are spending money you want to see the result on paper. Good figures and results is a good way to help justify the money spent.
At the same time, if you are happy with how the car runs, don't let it bother you too much. We are both in the same boat and I am very happy with how my car is running at the moment.

Wow,happynole,I thought the NX would put down bigger#s too.
I thought you would be around 200 with the nx setup and more like 220 in the se-r.

They were shocked it broke 200. My favorite comment: "You have a Honda killer there".

I will add they were also professional and nice to me as fellow car guys.

Best old (JWT ecu & SAFC2) run vs best current (Calum RT)

3rd gear vs 4th gear pulls

SERacer is absolutely right on 2 counts. First off, when you spend money on your car you like to see results that help justify the cost. Second, and more importantly, the car is running smooth from idle to 9000+ and is almost too much fun for the road. It' time to hit some tracks.

It's really odd that third gear would make +14hp more than 4th gear.

^^^ Why is that? Wouldn't the whp be the same whether it's 3rd or 4th gear?

^That NX is very fast. I thought it was making at least 195WHP. That think moves out. I've road in both of Joe's cars and the NX from 1st-3rd seemed like it pulled hard than the SE-R, but once you get in the high RPM's in the SE-R, wow. The SE-R was not CT tuned when I road in it though. I need another run Joe! When can I come down?

its all about the gearing and how it manipulates power. n/a cars should lose power from using 4th gear over 3rd while on a turbo application the extra load from the longer gear usualy shows more power. since none of us use engine dyno's we have to deal with what we got.

If that's the case than we(na people) should all dyno in 2nd or 1st gear to get better numbers, and the turbo people should dyno in fifth. The point is there shouldn't be a big difference between 3rd and 4th gear on a dynojet. Maybe 1 or 2 hp but not 14hp.

I suspect there more too it than just different gearing. Probably different tune and mods. Hopefully Joe can clarify the chart.
