can you get the rpm signal off the orange and blue wire by the dizzy, or is there a reason that it should be run all the way back to the ECU?

i have mine like you mentioned in the engine bay. I didnt feel the need to run it all the way back to the ecu when its the same wire either way.

If you pull the signal from the engine bay you'll get a choppy cam activation. Getting signal from the ECU gives the best signal to the switch. You have to use the wire that comes from pin #3 on the ECU.

Have you ran the power from else where? Running it directly from the battery would mean the MSD switch is always on.

Hey luke you say that you use #3 wire blue/orange from ecu for rpm signal, is this for a b14 because other people say use the black/blue wire from the ecu or is that for b13 ecu. I have a b13 and getting no signal from blue/orange wire off ecu

For the b13 is the blue wire with black line
