There some WRX piping kits for FMIC's, the extra length could help with some turbo lag (to avoid always being in boost at 70-75mph). Thing is FMIC piping plus eBay FMIC cost less then an STI TMIC ...

Vadim The compressor is longer on the VF39 which puts the stock y-pipe at an angle and the TMIC won't fit or bolt back down. I considered a kit off eBay like this one;
